Lamprologus cylindricus

The Neolamprologus cylindricus (Cylindricus Cichlid) is a slender, rock-dwelling cichlid from Lake Tanganyika, known for its distinctive, bold black-and-white vertical stripes on a bluish/grey body, often with electric blue fin tips, reaching about 4-5 inches. These aggressive, territorial fish form pairs, breed in caves, and are best kept by experienced aquarists in rocky tanks with hard, alkaline water, eating small invertebrates and fish.
