ANGELFISH

Freshwater angelfish, scientifically known as Pterophyllum scalare, are popular aquarium fish characterized by their distinctive, deep-bodied, and laterally compressed shape, resembling an arrowhead. They are known for their flowing, elongated dorsal, anal, and ventral fins, which contribute to their angel-like appearance. Their coloration is typically silvery with vertical dark stripes, but selective breeding has resulted in a variety of colors and patterns.
