CORY & CATFISH

Corydoras, commonly known as cory cats, are small, peaceful, bottom-dwelling catfish popular in freshwater aquariums. They are known for their armored bodies, barbels (whiskers), and varied colors and patterns. Corydoras are relatively easy to care for and are appreciated for their role in keeping tanks clean by scavenging for food. 

Catfish are a diverse group of ray-finned fish known for their prominent barbels, often described as whisker-like projections, around their mouths. These barbels are sensory organs that help them locate food, as many catfish are bottom-dwelling and nocturnal. Most catfish lack scales, and some species have bony plates or scutes covering their bodies. They are found worldwide in various aquatic environments, including freshwater, saltwater, and brackish water.
