Lamprologus calvus (Yellow)

The Yellow Calvus (Altolamprologus calvus "Yellow") is a striking, laterally compressed African cichlid from Lake Tanganyika, known for its bright yellow body with subtle dark spots or faint stripes, offering excellent camouflage in rocky environments, while its predatory, stalking nature and unique "bald" head patch (from which it gets its name) make it a fascinating but intermediate-level fish needing a structured tank and careful tankmates due to its territorial yet ambush-predator behavior.
