The Tropheus sp. "RED" Chimba (or Chipimbi) is a vibrant, deep-red Lake Tanganyika cichlid known for its stunning color, active nature, and territorial behavior, requiring experienced keepers with large, rocky tanks, hard alkaline water, and a vegetarian diet to manage its aggression, typically kept in large groups to disperse dominance. They're a variant of Tropheus moorii, known as one of the "reddest," developing deep rusty hues as they mature, often with a distinct stripe.
