Nannacara anomala

Nannacara anomala, the Golden Dwarf Cichlid, is a small, peaceful South American cichlid known for its vibrant colors, especially in males (blue/green shimmer with yellow fins) while females are duller brown but flash bright yellow during spawning, often displaying a checkerboard pattern. Males reach about 2-3 inches, females slightly smaller, and they thrive in planted, acidic, soft water, making them great for community tanks, though males need space from each other.
