Julidochromis transcriptus

The Julidochromis transcriptus, or Masked Julie, is a small, torpedo-shaped cichlid from Lake Tanganyika, known for its distinctive black "mask" pattern around the eyes, often with vertical bars or spots, and bright yellow fins with blue edges, thriving in rocky, cave-filled environments with hard, alkaline water, acting as a peaceful but territorial omnivore suitable for specialized tanks.
