Julidochromis dickfeldi

Julidochromis dickfeldi, or Dickfeld's Julie, is a slender, rock-dwelling cichlid from Lake Tanganyika, known for its elegant yellow, black, and blue patterns, pointed snout, and unique upside-down swimming ability. These territorial, cave-dwelling fish grow to about 4-5 inches, prefer hard, alkaline water, and are best kept in pairs with plenty of rocky structures, making them fascinating additions to a Tanganyikan biotope setup.
