Cryptoheros panamensis (Rosy or Panama Cichlid)

Cryptoheros panamensis, the Rosy or Panama Cichlid, is a small but feisty Central American fish known for its rosy-pink color, faint bars, and iridescent sheen, growing to about 4-5 inches, requiring plenty of space and robust tank mates due to its territorial nature, especially when breeding, when females turn dark.
