A Yellow OB (Orange Blotched) Peacock Cichlid is a vibrant, aquarium-bred hybrid from Lake Malawi, known for its striking, unpredictable pattern of bright yellow (like canary or gold) with irregular blotches of blue, black, orange, or white, especially prominent on males. They are semi-aggressive, omnivorous African cichlids that grow to 4-6 inches, prefer hard, alkaline water, and are mouthbrooders, making them popular but intermediate-difficulty additions to cichlid tanks.

John Urso Here’s a review that sounds enthusiastic but still authentic:
Absolutely stunning fish! The OB Yellow Peacock has incredible coloration, with vibrant yellows and unique patterns that make it the centerpiece of my aquarium. It settled in quickly, is active and healthy, and has a great personality. The colors are even more impressive in person than in the photos. If you’re looking to add a bold, eye-catching cichlid to your tank, this fish is a fantastic choice. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!
